O Underground Christian Fest é um festival sócio-cultural, que visa promover diversão, cultura e arte, através de valores que hoje são quase desconhecidos por boa parte dos jovens, e é organizado e realizado pelo grupo CMF (Christian Metal Force) da cidade de Itu, interior de São Paulo
O projeto para o festival nasceu no final de 2007 e em Janeiro de 2008 ocorreu em Itu a primeira edição. Desde já marcado pelo pioneirismo, sendo o primeiro festival de rock cristão da cidade de Itu.
As apresentações são distintas, procurando diversificar os as várias vertentes do rock, para atingir as todas as "tribos" possíveis, muitas vezes discriminadas. Apoiado pelo projeto anti-drogas "Sou Careta, Drogas Bah!", nosso objetivo é mostrar a liberdade do cristianismo nas várias modalidades artísticas, apresentando um modo de vida limpo e sem uso de drogas.
No ano de 2009 o festival se expandiu, e sua segunda edição foi realizada na cidade de Sorocaba, alcançando uma inesperada presença do público. No mesmo ano foi realizada, novamente em Itu, a terceira edição, consolidando o crescimento e reconhecimento das pessoas. Novamente em 2009, agora no dia 29 de Agosto, foi realizada a 4° edição do Underground Christian Fest, sem dúvida a melhor das edições.
A 4° edição contou com 12 bandas de várias cidades do estado do estado, e com a presença de mais de 300 pessoas. Como sempre o evento contou com grande diversidade de estilos, desde o Metal ao Indie Rock.
A organização agora se concentra no ano de 2010. Desde já estão sendo 'pré-definidas' algumas datas, locais e bandas para a realização do festival.
THE FESTIVAL
The Underground Christian Fest is a socio-cultural festival, which aims to promote fun, culture and art, through values that are now almost unknown to most young people, is organized and performed by the group CMF (Christian Metal Force) City Itu, São Paulo
The design for the festival was born in late 2007 and January 2008 occurred in the first edition Itu. Already marked by the pioneering spirit, the first Christian rock festival in the city of Itu.
Presentations are different, trying to diversify the various strands of rock, to achieve all the "tribes" possible, often discriminated against. Supported by the anti-drug project "I'm straight, Drug Bah!" Our goal is to show the freedom of Christianity in the various artistic modes, presenting a way of life and clean without using drugs.
In 2009 the festival has expanded, and its second edition was held in the city of Sorocaba, reaching an unexpected presence of the public. In the same year was again in Itu, the third edition, consolidating the growth and recognition of people. Again in 2009, now on August 29th was held the 4th edition of the Christian Underground Fest, undoubtedly the best editions.
The 4th edition featured 12 bands from various cities in the state of the state, and the presence of more than 300 people. As always the event was a great diversity of styles, from Metal to Indie Rock.
The organization now focuses on the year 2010. Already being 'predetermined' some dates, places and bands to the festival.
